Change Default User permissions

How to change Default User permissions in Workgroup Information File

1. Start Medical Database Seven.
2. Logon as Administrator (default director).

3. The Control Panel opens. Click on Change Permissions (or later inside the application open the Tools menu, point to Security, and then click User and Group Permissions .

4. On the Users page, select a User Name ...

You can manually change database and object permissions for user and group accounts in a workgroup. Permissions are granted to groups and users to regulate how they are allowed to work with each table, query, form, report, and macro in a database.

Permission Types

Each user has access to nine types of permission for objects in a database. The following table describes the nine types of permission, and what each type enables a user to do.

Open a database on a network, while ensuring that others cannot open the database while the first user has it open.

Change the design of objects and delete objects.

Set database passwords, replicate databases, and change startup properties. Have full access to objects and data, and assign permissions for objects.
